Hand Pi started in the early 1970's as a collective or hippie tribal attempt at making money at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Northern California. Since then Hand Pi has popped up a few times in Santa Fe, New Mexico as a street food and during 'Pi Day' celebrations. The start of a future Hand Pi is tied to a successful large event branding the image and selling of the toasted sandwich in the likeness of Zozobra, Santa Fe's 'Old Man Gloom' that burns every year before its 400 year old fall Fiesta.The first process of developing a profitable business is designing a scalable business model. The second is generating energy, buzz and investment. Inevitably the sandwich toasting utensil that we call the "Hand Pi machine" will be made by a 3D printer. But just like the original Hand Pi the first product to be product in this "brave new world" I will make by hand and that new sandwich grill will toast an image of a grumpy Trump ...
